Himachal High Court Slaps on Godfrey

Hon'able High Court of Himachal Pradesh has rejected the petition challenged entry tax on Tobacco Products. The petition was submitted by Godfrey ltd a tobacco manufacture in May, 2010. The Government of Himachal Pradesh imposed entry tax on tobacco products in April, 2010. But the decision was challenged by a tobacco company and state government had stopped the tax collection on its barrier and submitted reply to the High Court.
